Never hide from a fire under a bed or in a closet. “You can’t hide from a fire!“ Get out of a house that is on fire. Now that you know this lessen color Snuffy happy.

Never play with matches or lighters. Matches and lighters are not toys.

If you find matches or a lighter give them to your teacher, your mom or dad, or your guardian.

A smoke detector should always be on duty to warn you of a fire.

Ask your parents or guardian to test for the loud sound a smoke detector makes. If you ever hear that sound, get out of the house quickly.
Page 6
Always have at least two ways out of a house in case of fire.

Never open a door if it feels warm to the back of your hand. Fire could be on the other side.
